Man alleges hostile work environment, sexual harassment

CHICAGO — A former employee is suing UHES LLC and a company manager, alleging hostile work environment and sexual harassment.

Brett Goldstein filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that manager David Heller made comments of a sexually harassing nature.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered emotional damages from being sexually harassed by Heller during his employment. The plaintiff holds UHES LLC and Heller responsible for Heller's alleged behavior involving sexually explicit text messages and oral comments.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants for compensatory damages of more than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by L. Steven Platt of Robbins, Salomon & Patt, Ltd. in Chicago and Todd A. Heller and Bruce A. Slivnick of Law Offices of Todd A. Heller & Associates in Deerfield.
