Plaza Property Advisors says Baird Capital, Myelin owe $900K for services

A real estate consulting firm is suing Baird Capital Partners; Myelin Health Communications; and Partners+Simon Inc., citing alleged unjust enrichment, after the defendants allegedly used the consultants to land a rent deal, saving them at least $2.7 million, but then allegedly did not pay the consultants for their work.

CHICAGO — A real estate consulting firm is suing Baird Capital Partners; Myelin Health Communications; and Partners+Simon Inc., citing alleged unjust enrichment, after the defendants allegedly used the consultants to land a rent deal, saving them at least $2.7 million, but then allegedly did not pay the consultants for their work.

Plaza Property Advisors Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay the plaintiff for services.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater thanf $900,000 plus court costs. It is represented by Steven J. Roeder, Sarah J. Isaacson and Andrew J. Lewis of Roeder Law Offices LLC in Chicago.
