CHICAGO — A representative is suing Alden-Orland Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Inc.; Alden Management Services, Inc.; Emeritus at Orland Park; Brookdale Orland Park; and two nurses, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence after repeated falls.

Bridget Lockhart, as attorney in fact for Genowefa Kempa, filed a complaint on Nov. 16, in the Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Kempa.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Kempa experienced pain from suffering a fall. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to implement a care plan to address Kempa's risk of falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount sufficient to compensate the plaintiff for damages. She is represented by Paul D. Richter and Caitlin K. Finnegan of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
