CHICAGO — A deceased woman's family has filed a wrongful death claim alleging negligence in nursing home care.

Conerty, filed a complaint on Nov. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court against Providence Palos Heights, Rest Haven Illiana Christian Convalescent Home, Nurses on Demand Corp. Family Home Health Services Inc., and various related corporate entities, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Marion Conerty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Conerty suffered a fall that contributed to her death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to Conerty in order to address her risk of falling.
