CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit has alleged a woman's doctors at Advocate Dreyer failed to properly diagnose and treat her cancer.
Patricia Depasquale and Michael Depasquale filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, also including Evangelical Services Corporation; and Michael Irwin Rosenberg, M.D., alleging negligence in medical care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Patricia Depasquale suffers from cancer that progressed after an initial failure to be diagnosed. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for the alleged failure to properly diagnose Depasquale's condition.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by John J. Perconti, Michael F. Bonamarte and Caroleann S. Gallagher of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
