CHICAGO — A woman is suing the city of Chicago and several police officers, citing alleged excessive force and violation of civil rights.

Ebony Allen filed a complaint on Jan. 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they wrongfully arrested the plaintiff without proper warrant.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in June 2016, she sustained physical injuries from being thrown by arresting officers, who also allegedly disregarded her complaints of pain.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs. She is represented by David L. King and Paul E. Kelly of Kelly & King, P.C. in Chicago.
