Woman accused of stealing says Buffalo Grove store caused emotional distress

A woman is suing a Buffalo Grove grocery store, saying they falsely accused her of stealing.

CHICAGO — A woman is suing a Buffalo Grove grocery store, saying they falsely accused her of stealing.

Sabiha Naseer filed a complaint on Feb. 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Garden Fresh Market, alleging the store accused her of stealing items.

According to the complaint, Naseer alleges that on Feb. 18, she sustained emotional distress and mental suffering from being accused of stealing.

Naseer seeks judgment against the defendant for general damages and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Goldstein, Fluxgold & Baron P.C. in Chicago.
