CHICAGO — A patient is suing Glenshire Nursing & Rehab Centre Ltd., Glen Health and Home Management Inc., and two nurses, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries from pressure sores or administer medical treatments ordered by the plaintiff's physician.
Sylvester Staples filed a lawsuit on March 3 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he experienced pain from having developed pressure sores. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate supervision.
The plaintiff is seeking judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Cari Silverman and Pamela Dimo of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
