CHICAGO — A woman is suing Red Lobster after allegedly finding a piece of glass or ceramic bowl in her food.

Nathalie S. Hill filed a lawsuit on March 7 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the restaurant chain should be held responsible for staff's alleged failure to properly check the food items they serve to their customers.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she found a piece of glass or ceramic bowl in her meal on March 12, 2015. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to inspect the meal served to the plaintiff and make sure it was free of any foreign objects that could cause injury.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Ankin Law Office LLC in Chicago.
