CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Renaissance at 87th Street and Symphony at 87th Street and Symphony of Beverly, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Lanise K. Clay-Johnson, as independent administrator of the estate of Willie Mae Clay, filed a complaint on April 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper care to Clay.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff allege the facility and defendant companies failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to Clay to address her risk of falls, bedsores and other health issues.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Christine E. Clark of Mark L. Karno and Associates and Ronald D. Fohrman in Chicago.
