CHICAGO — An Evanston mental health and substance abuse counseling group is suing Keith Kudla, Sheri Stein, James P. Anderson, Robert Currie and Christine Kourouklis, citing alleged defamation.

PsycHealth Ltd. filed a complaint on April 20 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, all of whom worked for medical networks for which PsycHealth provided counseling, alleging they published defamatory statements in order to harm plaintiff's reputation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it sustained damages to the reputation of its company. The plaintiff holds the five defendant individuals responsible because they allegedly drafted and approved false statements against the plaintiff that went out to numerous health care providers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus any further relief this court grants. They are represented by David F. Wentzel and Michael Kozlowski of Wentzel Law Offices in Chicago.
