CHICAGO — A husband and wife are suing Sandra Culbertson M.D., The University of Chicago Medical Center and Palos Community Hospital, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Ann M. Hullett and Ronald Hullett filed a complaint on May 5 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Ann Hullett.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Ann Hullett was injured during a reconstructive surgery. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to properly secure a medical device while Ann Hullett was having surgery.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by Thomas G. Siracusa of Power, Rogers & Smith LLP in Chicago.
