CHICAGO — An individual is suing The Chalet Living and Rehabilitation Center LLC; Chalet Skilled Nursing Facility LLC; Progressive Healthcare Consulting LLC; Legacy Healthcare Financial Services LLC; Legacy Healthcare Network LLC; and Yair Zuckerman, claiming negligence.
Jeanne Kane filed a complaint on May 31 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to provide proper care to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she suffered repeated falls and blood toxicity. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly administered Depakote in crushed form to the plaintiff, which had adverse effects on her overall health and faculties.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court plus court costs. She is represented by Michael L. Teich of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd. in Chicago.
