CHICAGO — A deceased woman's family is suing Chateau NRSG & Rehab Center, a nursing facility, for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and negligence.
Sharon Campbell, as independent administrator of the estate of Patricia Lacalamita, filed a complaint on June 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the nursing facility failed to provide Lacalamita with proper care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Lacalamita fell, resulting in a fractured right hip and internal bleeding. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate supervision and assistance to Lacalamita to address her risk of falling.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Kelly Sabo Caden of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
