CHICAGO — A woman is suing Boris Sheynin M.D. individually and as an agent of Vadim Edelstein M.D. Ltd., and Oakton Park Medical Center, and as an agent of Advocate Health Care Network, for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and negligence.
Zohair Biyawerwala filed a complaint on June 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide her with proper medical care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she suffered a stroke when the defendants failed to provide adequate treatment to prevent the stroke.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Mark G. Adler of Adler & Adler P.C. in Chicago.
