By Louie Torres | Aug 10, 2017

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Transit Nightclub for alleged liability, negligence and allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Jessica Macedo filed a complaint on July 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to provide a reasonably safe establishment for her.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she suffered physical injuries, including a laceration on her forehead, after a fight broke out at the nightclub. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate security inside its establishment to prevent a fight from starting.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount sufficient to compensate her. She is represented by David J. Kupets of Law Offices of Kupets & DeCaro P.C. in Chicago.
