CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing MacNeal Hospital, Lexington Health Care Center of LaGrange Inc. and Royal Management Corp. for alleged negligence and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Irma Boyd, independent administrator of the estate of James Boyd, filed a complaint on July 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to prevent Boyd from developing pressure sores.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Michael F. Bonamarte and Jared M. Reynolds of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
