CHICAGO — A woman is suing doctors Scott Ziporin and George Havelka for allegedly severing a tendon in her right leg during surgery.
Shavon Anderson filed a complaint on July 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly close her surgical wounds after surgery.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $30,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Scott Barber of Barber Law Offices LLC in Schaumburg.
