CHICAGO — A man is suing Paramount of Oak Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent him from developing pressure sores.
Antonio Rushing filed a complaint on July 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to perform daily skin assessments on him to address his risk of developing pressure sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Michael F. Bonamarte and Jaime Koziol Delaney of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
