CHICAGO — A woman is suing Cook County and Sentinel Offender Services LLC for alleged negligence.
Mary Doe filed a complaint on Aug. 10 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly monitor juveniles who allegedly were wearing an ankle bracelet.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she was robbed and sexually assaulted. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly monitor a juvenile, identified as "Juvenile A," who allegedly was wearing an electronic ankle bracelet.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Francis Patrick Murphy of Corboy & Demetrio P.C. in Chicago.
