CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Forest Edge Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center LLC, Jackson Park Hospital Foundation and Dr. Rajiv Kandala for alleged negligence.
Marilyn Hayes, independent administrator to collect of the estate of Elijah Hayes, filed a complaint on Aug. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Elijah Hayes experienced pain due to pressure ulcers. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Elijah Hayes to prevent the development of pressure ulcers.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Philip J. Fowler of Karlin, Fleisher & Falkenberg LLC in Chicago.
