CHICAGO — A former executive is suing Shimer College and North Central College for alleged breach of contract.

James Ulrich filed a complaint on Sept. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants denied him tuition benefits.

According to the complaint, Shimer, the former chief operating officer at Shimer, was denied a salary and tuition benefits for his children, as he asserts he was owed under his contract, when Shimer's programs were absorbed by North Central.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus incidental and consequential damages and any further relief the court grants.
