All Around Amusement Inc., others accused of negligently maintaining ride stairs

CHICAGO — A woman is suing All Around Amusement Inc., the Catholic Bishop of Chicago and St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Michelle Fiore filed a complaint on Sept. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging her daughter was injured on Sept. 26, 2015, when she twisted her ankle when a step allegedly became unhinged and collapsed. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly maintain the stairs of their ride.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Peter A. Zneimer of Zneimer & Zneimer P.C. in Chicago.
