CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Goldberg Thatcher Young Holdings LLC, which is also known as 505 Professional Building LLC, for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Tamiko Harris, administrator of the estate of Daniel Miller, filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to properly plan a demolition, which allegedly fatally injured Miller.
The plaintiff accuses the defendant of failing to properly inspect the project site and correct any hazards that violate Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by James J. Tragos of Mack Law Group PC in Chicago.
