CHICAGO — A man is suing a woman, identified as Vicky Couchell, for alleged defamation.
Stephen Georgoules filed a complaint on Oct. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he has sustained damages to his name and reputation after the defendant allegedly falsely said he stole $150,000 from an undisclosed company.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, compensatory damages, court costs, punitive damages and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Timothy M. Kelly of Scannell & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
