CHICAGO — A woman is suing Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital Inc. and The Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Centre Inc. for alleged negligence.
Pamela Coumas, executor of the estate of Takis Coumas, filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide Takis Coumas with proper medical care, allowing Coumas to develop pressure ulcers.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Michael E. Holden and Jared M. Wise of Romanucci & Blandin LLC in Chicago.
