CHICAGO — A man is suing Tarik Ideis, an Illinois resident, for alleged defamation.
Nehad Salah filed a complaint on Oct. 19 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant made false accusations and statements against him, harming his reputation. The plaintiff alleges the defendant accused him of being a terrorist and weapons dealer. The plaintiff alleges the defendant extorted money from him to drop the alleged campaign of false accusations.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for more than $100,000 plus punitive damages of more than $100,000, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Fornaro Law in La Grange.
