CHICAGO — A woman is suing Martin Nixon, Michael Samson, Elaine Wisniewski, Norman Mechanical Inc., Margaret Gubala-Hagopian, Preferred Stock Inc., Martin Gaughan, Gaughan Capital Management Inc., Daniel Pontarelli, Daniel R. Pontaerlli Ltd. for alleged liability and negligence.
Joanne Guadalupe filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to keep their premises reasonably safe for her, specifically the floor tiles.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she sustained physical injuries when she allegedly fell after stepping on a loose, uneven, broken or cracked tile on Nov. 25, 2015.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Stephen D. Phillips and Terrence M. Quinn of Phillips Law Offices in Chicago.
