CHICAGO —  A couple is suing Loyola Center for Home Care and Hospice for alleged negligence.

Patricia Flowers and Sherman Flowers filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Patricia experienced pain after developing a post-operative blood clot, which allegedly resulted in further medical expenses. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to timely address Patricia Flower's condition and complaints and rule out the possibility of having developed a thrombus, including providing the necessary treatment needed.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Larry R. Rogers Jr. of Power Rogers & Smith LLP in Chicago.
