CHICAGO — Two parents and their minor son are suing Six Flags Great America for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Jane Doe and John Doe, parents and next friend of James Doe, filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the park didn't provide enough security to prevent them from being physically attacked and beaten by a group of assailants on Sept. 23 during the park's annual Fright Fest event

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. They are represented by Patrick L. Provenzale and Nemura G. Pencyla of Ekl, Williams & Provenzale LLC in Lisle.
