Food 4 Less Foods Co., others accused of negligence after employee allegedly injured patron

CHICAGO — A man is suing The Kroger Co., Food 4 less and Ralphs Grocery Company for alleged liability and negligence.

Bobby Williams filed a complaint on Nov. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he fell to the floor when an employee allegedly pushed a hand cart into him on Nov. 27, 2015. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to train their employees to properly control the equipment they are using while working to avoid hitting patrons.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Richard Nilson of Nilson, Stookal, Gleason & Caputo Ltd. in Chicago.
