Rush-Copley Medical Center Inc., others allegedly failed to properly perform a medical procedure

CHICAGO — A man is suing Rush-Copley Medical Center Inc., Rush University Medical Center, Rush-Copley Cardiovascular Consultants LLC and Dr. Todd P. Guynn for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Stanley Thorson filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants injured his cranial nerves during a procedure, allegedly causing him to suffer physical injuries and permanent damages.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Beutel Hurst Boleky LLC in Chicago.
