Turtle's sued by man claiming other drunk patrons attacked him at the establishment

A man is suing Turtle's Bar & Grill for alleged liability, negligence and unlawful sale of liquor to intoxicated persons.

CHICAGO — A man is suing Turtle's Bar & Grill for alleged liability, negligence and unlawful sale of liquor to intoxicated persons.

Nicholas E. Buck filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained physical injuries when he was assaulted by intoxicated patrons at the establishment. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate security inside its restaurant.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 and court costs. He is represented by Stephen M. Libman and Scott Norris of Burnes & Libman in Chicago.
