CHICAGO — A woman is suing Northwestern Memorial Hospital for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Monica Heffner filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant discharged her from its care despite knowing she had pressure ulcers.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Daniel J. Biederman Jr. of Rhatigan Law Offices LLC in Chicago.
