CHICAGO — A woman is suing Heritage Health - Walnut, Heritage Enterprises Inc. and Heritage Operations Group LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Betty Jane Okoniewski filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she fell and fractured her pelvis while in the defendants' care. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist her to prevent her from falling.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Margaret P. Battersby and Michael L. Shanahan of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
