Ge Ge's on Fifth Inc. accused of negligence after patron was allegedly assaulted

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Ge Ge's on Fifth Inc. and another woman for alleged assault, battery, negligence and the unlawful sale of liquor to intoxicated persons.

Kandanise Ramseur filed a complaint on Dec. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that Ge Ge's on Fifth Inc. sold excessive amounts of alcoholic beverages to the other woman, who then assaulted Ramseur, inflicting severe physicial injuries on March 25, 2017 while at Ge Ge's on Fifth.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $30,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Joseph L. Dombrowski of Dombrowski, Sorensen & Gigac in Chicago.
