United Services Automobile Association allegedly breached insurance contract

Insurance 07

CHICAGO — Two individuals are suing United Services Automobile Association for alleged breach of contract.

Jane Gralen and Donald Gralen filed a complaint on Jan. 18 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant refused to pay them the amount agreed to settle their claim.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were not paid the sum of at least $200,000 for their claim when Jane Gralen sustained physical injuries. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly breaching its contractual obligation to the plaintiffs for allegedly offering to pay only $75,000 for the claim.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by William J. Leonard of Wang, Leonard & Condon in Chicago.
