Man sues Chicago Cubs after falling down Wrigley Field stairway

CHICAGO — A man is suing the Chicago Cubs for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Erik R. Ludwig filed a complaint on Jan. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained serious physical injuries on July 5 when he allegedly fell down a stairway located near his seat at Wrigley Field. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to warn him about the dangerous condition of the stairway.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court and court costs. He is represented by Adam M. Gilbert and Brian D. Teven of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd. in Chicago.
