CHICAGO — A man is suing Vaperz and Samsung SDI America Inc. for alleged design defect, liability, negligence and product liability.
Juan Moore filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants designed and manufactured a defective battery that allegedly burst into flames and exploded, burning him.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly allowing the sale and distribution of their product despite allegedly knowing about the danger it posed.
