CHICAGO — A couple is suing Suburban Surgical Associates Ltd. and Dr. Mark S. Choh for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Mathias Bischof and Katherine London Bischof filed a complaint on Feb. 23 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Mathias Bischof sustained serious physical and disabling injuries allegedly caused by nerve damage during hernia surgery. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to protect the nerve while performing the procedure.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. They are represented by Patrick M. Flaherty of Kinally Flahery, Krentz Loran Hodge & Masur PC in Aurora.
