Man who allegedly sent $75,000 to 'imposter' accuses Miller Good Law Ltd. of breach of duty

CHICAGO — A man is suing Cynthia Ann Miller and Miller Good Law Ltd. for alleged breach of duty.

Erick Pfaucht filed a complaint on Feb. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly secure Miller's email account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he wired $75,000 to an impostor's bank account, and holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to implement certain procedures and protocols related to electronic wire transfer transactions to prevent the plaintiff from being defrauded.
