Resurrection Physicians Provider Group, others allegedly terminated doctor's agreement without cause

Law money 12

CHICAGO — A doctor is suing Resurrection Physicians Provider Group Inc., MSO Great Lakes Inc., Paul Ghilardi, Dr. John Bello and Dara Ellingson for alleged breach of fiduciary duty and unlawful termination.

Dr. Maria Staisz filed a complaint on May 10 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging her status as a participating provider for Resurrection Physicians Provider Group Inc. was terminated without cause. The plaintiff also claims she was a shareholder of Resurrection Physicians Provider Group Inc. and her shareholder status was revoked by the defendants based solely upon her termination.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly terminating both of her statuses without cause.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment for the fair market value of her shares, the costs of litigation and any other relief that is deemed just. She is represented by Anthony S. DiVincenzo and John Wickert of Lustig & Wickert PC in Chicago.
