Medical malpractice 01

CHICAGO — A patient is suing Rush Oak Park Hospital and a physicians group, citing alleged medical malpractice.

Robert Bale filed a complaint June 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against Rush Oak Park Hospital, Rush Oak Park ER Physicians Group Inc., Dr. Valerie McKenna and Dr. David Mando and two nurses, alleging the defendants attempted to catheterize the plaintiff multiple times on Aug. 6, 2016 because of continuous pain and bladder discomfort, but his pain did not diminish. Bale said he sustained urethal trauma and developed multiple medical complications that required an extended hospital stay.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks a judgment in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Daniel Pylman of Cirignani Heller & Harman LLP in Chicago.
