For the second straight year, Schiff Hardin LLP has ranked among the top large law firms in Chicago and nationwide for associate satisfaction, according to the results of the 2018 Midlevel Associate Satisfaction survey by The American Lawyer.
The annual survey asked third-, fourth-, and fifth-year associates at the top 200 U.S. law firms to rate their firms for job satisfaction in the areas of compensation and benefits; training and guidance; relations with partners and other associates; interest in and satisfaction level with the work; the firm’s policy on billable hours; and management’s openness about firm strategies and partnership chances. Firms were rated on a scale of one to five, with five being “very satisfied.”
Schiff Hardin’s scores beat both the regional and national averages, ranking #8 in Chicago and #30 nationally.
