CHICAGO – A relative of a former resident of an Orland Park care facility alleges the facility failed to protect the resident from developing pressure sores.
Sandy Tulicki, as independent executor of the estate of Rose Tulicki, filed a complaint on Oct. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court against Autumn Leaves of Orland Park; HCR Healthcare LLC and Heartland Hospice Services LLC, citing wrongful death and other counts.
According to the complaint, beginning in June 4, 2017, Rose Tulicki was a resident at defendants' nursing home where she allegedly developed pressures sores that were present until the time of her death.
The plaintiff seeks judgment of more than $50,000. She is represented by Mike Bonamarte and Daisy Allyon of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
