The global law firm Jones Day announces that Corey Zarse has joined the Firm's Private Equity Practice as a partner in its Chicago Office.
Mr. Zarse counsels and represents private investment funds, investment advisers, investment companies, and broker-dealers on matters relating to regulatory and compliance issues; mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures involving investment advisers, broker-dealers, and funds. He has experience in advising clients on the regulatory aspects of the formation and structuring of investment funds.

Mr. Zarse's client work also includes advising on and responding to regulatory issues raised by the SEC, counseling advisers and fund officers regarding compliance and operational issues, organizing and registering investment companies employing various fund structures, preparing for and responding to SEC examinations, and other matters relating to the operation of investment funds.
