A woman injured in a fall is suing the premise's owner.

Anne Adams filed a complaint May 29 in Cook County Circuit Court against O'Hare Corporate Center LLC and 1300 West Higgins Road Building Corp.

On or about May 30, 2013, Adams was at the business when she tripped over an outlet sticking out of the ground, which caused her to fall and be injured.

The defendants are cited with failing to recognize a dangerous condition; repair the condition; maintain their premises; warn the plaintiff of a dangerous condition; and eliminate the dangerous condition.

As a result, Adams suffered injury, pain and suffering, medical expenses and loss of a normal life and earning capacity.

The plaintiff seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs.

The plaintiff is represented by Benjamin B. Kelly of the Vrdolyak Law Group LLC in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case no. 2015L005482.
