Lucinda Hudson-Leggs filed suit Oct. 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Delta-Sonic Car Wash Systems Inc., claiming she was injured as a result of Delta-Sonic's negligence.
According to Hudson-Leggs, she visited the Delta-Sonic at 18225 S. Halsted St. in Glenwood to get gasoline. She claims she sustained injuries after slipping on wet paint when walking from the gas pump to the convenience store.
Hudson-Leggs claims she was injured as a result of Delta-Sonic's failure to block off or warn pedestrians of the unsafe condition of the pedestrian walkway. She contends she suffered serious injuries, discomfort and had to pay for the medical costs to treat her injuries.
Hudson-Leggs is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. She is being represented by John B. Schwartz and Associates.
