Scales

A woman is suing over claims that a motel room was infested with bugs.

Eliada Mora filed a lawsuit Oct. 18 in the Circuit Court of Cook County against Lido Hospitality Inc., claiming she sustained numerous bug bites on June 7 while staying in a bug infested motel room at 2415 N. Mannheim Road in Franklin Park.

Mora claims the defendant was negligent in allowing the room to become infested with bugs, allowing the plaintiff to stay in the room and negligently inspecting the room.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. She is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney Michael B. Jawgiel.
