A woman is suing after she tripped and fell over a bucket while visiting a man's trailer home.
Carol Callaghan filed a lawsuit Oct. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against Robert Schutzenhofer, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Schutzenhofer owned and operated a mobile home at 9001 Cicero Ave., Trailer 216, in Oak Lawn. Callaghan says that while visiting, she was washing dishes when Schutzenhofer placed a bucket of water behind her without telling her, causing her to trip and fall over the bucket and sustain injuries.
Callaghan is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. She is being represented in the case by attorneys David A. Statham and Stephanie L. Hovanec of Newman, Boyer & Statham Ltd.
